Delivery and return policy

The products sold by mercicaffe.com are delivered using express courier services. The ordered products will reach you in 2-3 business days, with the exception of localities where the courier company does not deliver daily.

The total shipping cost will be displayed in the shopping cart before placing/registering the order, unless otherwise specified on our website (e.g. Free Shipping, etc.), in the case of promotions, offers, etc.

According to Article 9 paragraph 1 of Government Ordinance No. 34 of 12 June 2014 on consumer rights, you have the right to withdraw from distance contracts, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the date on which you or a third party, other than the carrier, indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the product.

To exercise your right of return, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement sent by e-mail to the e-mail address salut at mercicaffe.com, where "at" represents the @ sign.

If you wish to return the product, we will refund any amount we received from you, less the costs of delivery from mercicaffe.com to you, unless, where applicable, the delivery of the product was free of charge. Also, the delivery cost (return) for sending the product from you to mercicaffe.com will be paid by you, even if, where applicable, the delivery of the product was free of charge. If you send the product with payment of shipping to the destination (non-recommended), mercicaffe.com will refund the amount originally paid for the product minus the shipping costs, including the additional ones determined by the fact that you chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery type offered by us.

If you wish to replace the product with another, the shipping cost from you to the mercicaffe.com address (the return) will be paid by you. The replacement of the product will be made as quickly as possible, 3-5 business days, depending on the available stock, after checking the product by mercicaffe.com and if the returned product complies with the conditions of our return policy. You will pay the shipping cost (replacement) from mercicaffe.com to your address for the new package sent by mercicaffe.com to you, even if, as the case may be, the initial delivery of the product was free. You will not pay the shipping cost for replacing a product with the same product, if the replacement request is made in the case of mercicaffe.com sending a product other than the one requested by you in the ordering process.

The refund of the amount paid for the purchase of the product will be made without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make this refund using the following payment methods:

  • bank transfer - you will need to provide us with your name, IBAN and bank name. If additional data is required, we will request it from you via an email sent to the email address you registered with. To avoid the notification/communication email(s) being redirected to spam, it is recommended that you save this email address in your contacts and ensure the necessary space in the Inbox of your email account.   • refund to the account attached to the credit card you used to make the payment, where possible.

Important: regardless of the payment method, please allow at least 3-5 business days for processing. If the amount of money has not been credited to your account after 5 business days from the moment we notified you by email or phone that the processing has been completed, please contact us at the email address salut at mercicaffe.com, where "at" represents the @ symbol, or at the phone number 0744846243.

For return requests, please write to us at the email address salut at mercicaffe.com, where "at" represents the @ symbol. You can also use the contact form in the Contact section of the website. We will provide you with the address to which you should send the product(s). We will process the return without undue delay and, in any case, within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which you communicated your return request to us. The deadline is met if the products are sent back before the expiry of the 14-day period.

We will support you in choosing the return method and provide you with the necessary details regarding the product shipping address, packaging, or contacting the courier company.

If the product is returned in a condition in which it can no longer be sold as new (open packaging, missing accessories/products, damaged product, etc.), we reserve the right to refuse the return or to charge a fee to restore the product to its original state, as appropriate, to restock. At your request, we will re-ship the product.
